The Boston Pilot recently highlighted the solidarity efforts carried out from Massachusetts to support communities affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, emphasizing the participation of the Venezuelan Association of Massachusetts (VAM) in these initiatives.
The article describes the joint work between VAM and St. Benedict Parish in Somerville, where the community has mobilized to raise funds, food, medicine, and other supplies for survivors. Since the first days following the emergency, various organizations and members of the Venezuelan community have joined forces to channel aid to the affected areas.
